The holiday season is a time for joy, reflection, and generosity. For many young adults transitioning out of foster care, it can also be a season filled with uncertainty. Without family traditions or a place to call home, the holidays may highlight the challenges they continue to face.
At The New Foster Care, we believe every young person deserves to feel seen, valued, and supported. This Christmas, we invite you to join us in creating moments of comfort, connection, and hope for youth and young adults in our community.

Join Our Christmas Giving Initiative
This year, we are bringing the spirit of Christmas to our young adults as they move toward independence. Your support, no matter the size, creates meaningful impact across their lives. Here are ways you can give and get involved:
🎁 Sponsor a Young Person: Support a young adult directly by fulfilling their holiday wishlist. Your thoughtful gifts send a strong message: someone cares and believes in their future.
🎄 Purchase a Gift from the Angel Tree: Select a gift from a young adult’s wishlist, mark it as purchased, and ship or drop it off at The New Foster Care by December 12th. Your gift may be the only one they receive this year.
📦 Host a Toy Box: We’ll provide a wrapped donation box for your business, church, or community group. Collect new, unwrapped toys and books for children ages 0–12 to help brighten Christmas for families in our community. To request a toy box, email change@thenewfostercare.org.
💸 Give a Monetary Donation: Your financial gift helps us meet urgent needs and ensures that every young person we serve receives something special this season.
🎀 Volunteer to Wrap Gifts: Help us prepare donated gifts with care and warmth. Your time transforms simple items into beautifully wrapped reminders of hope. Click here to sign up to volunteer.
Your Impact Matters
When you give, you do more than provide a present, you help young adults aging out of foster care experience belonging during a time that can feel isolating. Every donation, every gift, and every hour volunteered reflects a community that refuses to let young people face the holidays alone.
This season, we invite you to stand with The New Foster Care in offering support, compassion, and hope. Together, we can ensure that Christmas becomes a moment of connection for every young person we serve.
