Each year, thousands of young people age out of foster care without the support systems their peers rely on. This guide explores the “foster care to adulthood pipeline,” highlighting the barriers youth encounter, and how community partnerships can help bridge the gap to stability, opportunity, and hope.

Young adults aging out of foster care often face housing instability and limited support. Since 2017, our organization has worked to change that. In 2020, we launched the Bridge Program to provide wraparound guidance and resources, and now, we’re expanding that impact through the redevelopment of the former Plaza Hotel into safe, affordable housing with built-in community support.
